Reggie Wood was chosen by his cousin, former NYPD Police Officer Raymond Wood, to deliver Ray’s crucial secret to the world. Reggie is not a scholar nor a historian, he is just a regular guy who has seen the injustices that the black and brown communities face and wants the facts to be told. After Raymond confessed to Reggie his involvement in the assassination of Malcolm X, it changed Reggie’s perspective on the world. The shocking knowledge that a blatant murder of a fellow Black man by the government was aided by a family member has given Reggie’s life a new purpose. He was burdened with his vow to not release the horrible truth of what really happened to Malcolm X, holding onto the truth for over 10 years until Ray’s passing. Now that the truth is out, Reggie is ready to tell the world all of the facts, instead of relying on just feelings.
