Tune into weekly episodes of “Facts Over Feelings,” a 60-minute podcast focusing on the current state of Black life in America, specifically as it relates to the struggles of the Civil Rights movement 50 years ago. The host, Reggie Wood, interviews guests as they combine the story of his cousin, former NYPD officer, and FBI informant Ray Wood with the struggles of Black Lives Matter and police brutality in 21st century America. Each episode mirrors a chapter in Reggie Wood’s book, “The Ray Wood Story: Confessions of a Black NYPD Cop in the Assassination of Malcolm X.” Reggie will lay bare his cousin’s role in one of history’s most mysterious high-profile murders while also probing Ray’s life and the unavoidable missteps that cast him as a key player Malcolm X’s murder.
